Hello. I am 25 years old. I have now been out of college for three years. I have worked for two different companies, one with 100,000+ employees and one with fewer than 15, in two very different industries. Well it has been a busy week and an exciting week. While the overall market continues to trade in its range just under the 13,000 mark, oil continued its march higher. It seems that most investors have gotten used to the headlines on Yahoo! Finance and other web sites saying “Oil Sets Record.” It almost has the feel of an annoyance rather than a shock. Am I alone in this feeling?

Well, I feel the web site has gotten off the ground and it is time to work on the aesthetics of the site as well as continuing to provide sound content for my readers.
Check out the small preview of the design I have been working on. This design is not complete and will probably be tweaked before it is implemented.

With the financial sector taking a plunge over the last six months, I figured it was a decent time to pick up a financial. After all, I didn’t own a bank in my portfolio, so it seemed to make sense. Wells Fargo seemed to be a bank that had minimal sub-prime exposure, so that was my choice. I bought a small position in Wells Fargo (WFC). There has been a good bit of debate over the Social Security program in recent years. Bush made an unsuccessful attempt to reform a few years back. Whether you are a Bush fan or hate him, my opinion is, at least Bush is trying to do something to fix the program.
