You Just Sent $7 Billion Over To Greece
The IMF is announcing further plans to bail out Greece. The largest contributor of funds to the IMF is the United States. Or, maybe I should say, you fund the IMF. The latest round of bailouts for the disaster-of-an-economy known as Greece is estimated to be about $7 billion in U.S funds.
Well, I apologize for interrupting your day. You need to go back to work so that you can pay taxes and send more money over the Greece so that the Greeks can have guaranteed retirement at age 50. You? No, you need to work until at least 70. Why? Well, because we need to continue to generate funds to bail out the next countries (i.e. Portugal, Ireland, and plenty of others I imagine).
Thank you U.S. taxpayer. Thank you for ensuring global economic stability. Thank you for preventing the European banks with exposure to Greece from going under. Thank you for ensuring that the Greek union worker nearing retirement has nothing to be concerned with. He can go back to relaxing on the beach.
As for you. American Idol is on tonight. Enjoy it, but get some sleep. We need you to get back to work in the morning.

You answered that better that I could have. Well put.
Stephan:
When is enough enough? We bailout Greece, do we plan to bailout Spain & Portugal? What then? What if UK and Japan are next?
Looks like a slippery slope with no end in sight to me.
Good points, thanks for your comments
