Why The Market Is REALLY Only 15% Higher Than It’s 2009 Lows

Great read from ZH where by pricing the stock market in gold (always a useful exercise), you will see that the S&P 500 is actually only 15% higher than the 666 low back in early 2009.  Quite a different story than what most of us hear from CNBC and what we would learn from headlines.

Does pricing the market in gold tell the whole story?  Maybe not, but it does tell a story, and an important one.  That story is that you can manipulate stock prices higher, but if you price it in gold, it will tell you the truth.  Another example of why gold will tell you everything.
