Have You Ever Considered Owning a Really Expensive Car?

canstockphoto15221006If you love cars, you probably have a bucket list of vehicles you would like to own at some point. Perhaps you even dream of owning the world’s most expensive car, the Bugatti Veyron, which is currently available for around $1,7 million. Imagine what car title loans providers would say if you tried to get a loan on that car! The Bugatti Veyron truly is a car like no other. Sure, there are quite a few vehicles nowadays that try to emulate it, or that have been inspired by it but there is nothing quite like the real thing. While the Veyron is out of most people’s rich, you should still keep your eyes open because the rich and famous who own these types of vehicles tend to change cars as often as what normal people change socks!

The Real Cost of an Expensive Car

Let’s say you have spent your whole life saving up, or have had an unexpected windfall like a lottery win, and you can finally purchase that Bugatti. Unfortunately, that still doesn’t mean you can afford it. The insurance payments on this vehicle are so expensive that they would be crippling for everyday people. Considering it has a top speed of around 253mph, this really isn’t surprising. No other road car is able to achieve those types of speeds. Supported by its 16 cylinder engine, it also drinks gas like lemonade, which is another reason why most regular people will simply never be able to afford it.

So you are sitting there with your windfall, but nothing to spend it on, since you can’t afford the Veyron. You may want to consider the Ferrari Enzo instead. You should be able to get your hands on this one for around $1 million. With a top speed of 186mph and 12 cylinders, it is still a really powerful vehicle that will take you where you want to go in real style. However, the Enzo has incredibly high accident rates, perhaps because it is so popular with younger, male socialites. As a result, the insurance premiums are also through the roof. Of other interest is that this car doesn’t suffer from devaluation. Rather, it is worth more and more all the time.

Unfortunately, the Enzo may also still be out of your price range, therefore. If so, you could check out the Pagani Zonda. This costs “just” $741,000, so it is a whole lot more affordable. It is also a beautiful car that is an excellent status symbol and will certainly get heads turning. It is a high performance, luxury car, so insurance premiums will be significantly higher than, say, a Fiat Panda, but they won’t be as high as the Veyron or the Enzo, presuming, of course, that you are not a young driver and that your driving record is clean.

These are just three of the world’s most expensive vehicles that most people have included on their bucket list.
