| End the Fed by Ron Paul
Ron Paul does an excellent job in this book of breaking down a complex topic such as the Federal Reserve, fractional reserve banking and monetary policy into easy-to-understand language. He presents a clear case for why the Federal Reserve does much more harm than good and how the Fed has led to the current financial crisis. If more people understood the concepts in this book, our economy would look drastically different. Grade: A+ Who should read this book: Everybody |

| The Pursuit of Honor by Vince Flynn
Vince Flynn is probably my favorite fiction writer and the character of Mitch Rapp is an all time classic. This is his latest in the series. The book is good, but not his best. Interestingly, you can see some of Flynn’s real world political frustrations coming through his characters in the book. This is both good and bad in my opinion. Some of the political rants don’t feel realistic coming from certain characters. With that said, if you want a fast, action-packed read, you can’t go wrong with this book. Grade: B- Who should read this book: Anyone looking for a quick read, action-packed, CIA/terrorism thriller |
