This chart is amazing in my opinion. Does the last 15 years look like a normal functioning market to you?

    This graph should be displayed in log scale….then it could be argued that it looks kind of like the 70s.

    Technology and the global economy both changed the rules. I'm not sure you can just look at it and say 'Well, there's something wrong because the trendline got all jacked up'. It may have been that simple when trading was done with 1/8ths or 1/16ths, when people traded based on prices in the newspaper, when information about every company wasn't available with a few clicks, etc. etc. etc.
